Designers went back-to-basics and reigned mod black and white looks as fashion frontrunners in their spring 2013 collections. Narciso Rodriguez opted for streamlined, sleek silhouettes in the neutral shades, while Michael Kors and Marc Jacobs made bold statements with contrasting black-and-white stripes. Prada created sixties inspired motifs, putting their own spin on the trend.
