The catwalks this Spring are swinging with the big eyes and the pale lips of the 1960s, a beauty look which has never quite been forgotten by the fashion world, and which continues to reinvent itself season after season. At Mary Kantrantzou, make-up artist Val Garland created a bold, updated version of the heavily lined 1960s eye, whilst Pat McGrath painted the faces of Luis Vuitton’s models in peaches and pinks, topped off with generous layers of mascara.
